Laurenne really wanted to do her first look and couple's session outside. I, too, prefer to shoot outside whenever conditions are suitable. Well, we might have stretched the boundaries of what was "suitable" that day. It was about 15degrees that afternoon...with gusting 20-25mph winds. We quite literally were being sandblasted by little ice crystals as the wind swirled and howled. Ashley of Little White Dress Weddings spent her time trying to shield the bride from getting an unwanted exfoliation. The wind would die down and we would quickly snap a few frames, then run into nearby buildings to warm up. I couldn't feel my fingers. My eyes watered so much that I couldn't see through the viewfinder.
And yet, when I look at a photograph like this....with the bride looking so radiant...I know it was all worth it. I'll be posting the rest of the wedding soon, but couldn't resist sharing this sneak peek.
