New Client Galleries for Weddings and Portrait Sessions

I wanted to write a quick post to let my past clients know that I have recently changed how and where I post my online galleries for my clients. My new online galleries will be hosted at the new domain www.ericruddclients.com. While I won't be migrating past clients' galleries to the new domain, the old galleries are still available at http://cart.ericruddphotography.com/clients. All of your original log in information still works. Please email or call me if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Marysol and David ~ Bloomington Wedding at St. Paul's

When a union brings together two wonderful families...one with Puerto Rican roots and the other deep with an Italian heritage, you know it's going to be colorful. I really enjoy having Marysol and David as friends. I photographed their engagement pictures last fall and have been looking forward to their wedding day for some time. I knew it was going to be fun. Maybe it's because they are musicians. I studied music at the University of Wisconsin, so I feel a very strong connection to their love of great music and the arts. And their families know how to have a great time. I was also really impressed with the band at the reception...El Fuego Lento...absolutely fantastic. Be sure to check them out! I've selected these images to share because they are my favorites.

Kim and Matt ~ Chicago Engagement Session at Millenium Park

I have a strong affinity for Chicago. My mother was born and raised in Oak Park, so I traveled to the Windy City often as a child. We would always stop at my grandparents' house on Maple Ave. for a few days before going on to the lake in Wisconsin for a couple weeks of summer vacation. Garrett's popcorn, Parky's hotdogs, Marshall Fields (sigh), and Kiddie Land are just a few of the things I love about my time in Chicago. In fact, my family and I lived there for a few years before relocating in 2005 to Bloomington, Indiana.

So when Kim and Matt invited me up to shoot their engagement pictures I jumped at the chance. Any excuse to spend some time downtown and I'm a happy camper. With many locations to choose from, we settled on Millenium Park on the lake. Although it was a little hot that evening, I think we ended up with some nice pics. Enjoy!

Lindsay and Austin ~ Bloomington Wedding at The Fields

When I first met Lindsay, she was a bridesmaid in Kristen and Eric's wedding here in Bloomington. You see, Kristin and Eric's wedding was the starting point for many great events and friendships. First, I photographed their wedding at the First United Methodist Church. Then, I photographed Kristin's sister, Kelsey, at her Beck Chapel wedding. Finally, I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsay and Austin at The Fields. When Lindsay first called me, Austin was getting ready to leave to go overseas with the Air Force. I love photographing weddings involving members of the Armed Services. These brave men and women sacrifice so much for our country and it's a pleasure to provide them with wedding pictures they can enjoy for years to come. Click here for the slideshow. Here are some of my favorites!
