I recently went on a field trip with my son to the Indiana University's Greenhouse. During the tour, we came across this gentleman who was quietly tending to some of the plants. What struck me was how peaceful the scene was. Here we were...a group of 20 rowdy 1st graders and a handful of adults. And here was this guy...quietly trimming and simply "being." As a photographer, I am constantly having to remind myself to be in the moment. I found this idea modeled for me during a school field trip.
