Fulfilling The Promise

To my knowledge, this is the first image of mine to be used on a billboard. About a year ago, I began working at Indiana University shooting images for their brand. I really enjoy it....never the same day twice. I've been able to shoot interesting students, dignitaries, visiting actors and musicians, and events. I hope to post more of that work here.

The image below makes me smile. I enjoy the juxtaposition of the clean look of the billboard/branding against the rough and tumble look of the cement truck rolling by. (The billboard is along side a cement company). The billboard image was shot on a Canon 6D. The image below is with a Yashica 635 twin lens camera on Ilford black and white film.  My imaginary caption for this image is....

"IU Communications. We work hard so you don't have to."
