Heidi and AJ ~ married ~ Indianapolis

Right from the beginning I knew that Heidi and AJ's wedding was going to be something special. It was also a bonus that I am friends with the bride and groom. AJ and I both coached soccer for the local club here in Bloomington. Heidi and I became fast friends during their engagement session last year. The ceremony was at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Indianapolis and their beautiful reception was held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom downtown. Gorgeous.

I often have a few butterflies when I start the day shooting. It's natural and comes with the job. There are many details to remember, schedules to keep, momentum to keep flowing...all the while trying to be creative along the way. Oh, and it threatened rain all day. But my nervousness went out the window when, at the salon that morning, I heard Heidi say, "I can't stop smiling."

Everything will be all right.
