This is MY family. Or I should say, my god-family. Carol Sue and my mom met in kindergarten in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park and grew up best friends. When my mom passed away (too early) due to cancer, Carol took up the calling of being there for me whenever I needed some "motherly guidance" and love. She is my mother now and Denise would not have wanted it any other way. I am so thrilled to be able to photograph three generations of the Zenner Family here in Chicago.
