Kathy & Mark - Chicago

Who can't help but love a wedding in the city? Kathy and Mark were married at the Crystal Garden on Navy Pier in beautiful downtown Chicago, IL. The couple got ready with family and friends at the classy Palmer Hotel on Monroe Street in the heart of the city. The wedding party and family then took a trolley out to the Pier. Kathy and Mark are big "Rat Pack" fans, so the table centerpieces included pictures of all the greats....Sinatra, Armstrong, Sammy Jr., among others. The reception did not disappoint either, with plenty of music and martinis!!! Their wedding was a classy, black tie affair!

You can view the entire event and order prints here.

Oh I love the color of film! Have you tried Fuji 400H? Which would you recommend for +1EV portraits?

Thank you, Jing, for your comment. I have indeed tried Fuji 400H. I love the look of it when other photographers shoot it. The film is gorgeous. I've tried it myself and it's not for me. It often has a "pink" quality to it that I feel doesn't suit my style. My main film is Portra 400. I know what I get out of that film. As for a +1 exposure compensation...I shoot all manual and meter externally, so I don't compensate the camera's internal meter.

Thank you for your reply! I wish I could have a Contax 645 and a external meter one day~~~
