Photographing babies is about patience. You set the stage....and wait. And wait. Then wait some more. I'm definitely not the one in control here. But you have to be ready. Because when you least expect it...the moment is here...and you'd better shoot!!

Actually, I learn a lot about myself when I photograph small babies and children. You really do have to be in the moment. Work with what you're given. Adjust. Relax. (they smell fear!) Be flexible. All the things that are important to being any kind of photographer.
